Bai Ngang is a stunning, crescent-shaped cove renowned for having some of the cleanest and most transparent turquoise waters in Cam Ranh Bay. The sand is exceptionally white and powdery, leading into a very shallow, gentle seabed where you can wade out dozens of meters on soft sand. Because the bay is highly sheltered and tucked away from the open sea, the water here is incredibly calm, flat, and virtually wave-free, making it feel like a massive natural swimming pool-ideal for children and relaxed floating. Swimmers should note that the locals use parts of this clean bay to cultivate baby lobsters and shrimp, so you will see some wooden stakes and netting farther out in the water. While there are no municipal lifeguards or safety buoy lines, the beach maintains a peaceful, slow-paced atmosphere. Several rustic, beachfront seafood shacks and eco-villas provide convenient access to freshwater rinsing showers and restrooms for a small fee of about 10,000 VND, where you can also enjoy freshly caught seafood right on the water's edge.
