Visitors typically pull off the main highway directly into the unpaved or dirt parking clearings managed by the local seaside seafood shacks built along the cliffside. From these rustic parking setups, you transition down to the water by walking along a somewhat steep, uneven dirt and stone pathway winding between the seaside restaurants. The terrain can be a bit rugged and requires careful footing on natural rock slopes, but it leads you right down to the water line without requiring formalized or exhausting concrete stairs.
Bai Dai is a wild, intensely dramatic, and rocky stretch of coastline rather than a typical smooth swimming beach. The shoreline is defined by its striking composition of coarse, golden-white sand heavily interspersed with massive, jagged granite boulders that jut out directly into the deep turquoise sea.
