Motorbikes and vehicles can be parked in informal, flat dirt spaces or sandy clearings near the local fishing village houses that edge the coast. From these rustic parking spots, accessing the shoreline is a flat, short walk of just a few meters over soft sandy paths and through light casuarina groves, entirely avoiding steep cliffs or concrete stairs.
Bai bien Tu Nham is a remarkably grand, wild, and largely untouched coastal treasure, spanning an expansive arc of soft white sand that stretches for nearly 8 kilometers along the peninsula. A unique defining characteristic of the landscape is the massive, rolling white sand dunes that rise directly behind the beach, creating an exotic, desert-like setting right next to the sea. The ocean water is incredibly clean and reflects a bright turquoise hue. Because of its massive scale and lack of any commercial resort development, the beach offers a powerful sense of solitude and natural freedom, where the only signs of activity are the gentle waves rolling ashore and the occasional traditional coracle basket boat resting on the sand.
