For those traveling by land from the main harbor (Bai Lang), you can take a motorbike along the winding coastal road to the parking clearing above the beach, where you can park your scooter for about 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND. Alternatively, many visitors step directly onto the sand via a wooden footbridge if arriving by local speedboat tours that pull directly up to the shoreline.
This highly picturesque, 400-meter-long beach is famous for its towering coconut palms, fine golden-white sand, and the striking, naturally stacked granite rock formations at its ends. For swimmers, the water is remarkably clear, warm, and boasts a beautiful turquoise hue, with a very gentle, sandy seabed that makes for highly relaxing wading. Because the beach is tucked away on the island's sheltered side, it is well-protected from open-ocean currents and rough waves during the dry season from February to August, making it incredibly safe for swimming and shallow snorkeling. While it is quieter than neighboring Bai Ong, there are no active public lifeguards on duty, so swimmers should remain cautious. Basic changing rooms, toilets, and freshwater rinsing showers can be used at the single, local rustic restaurant on the beach for a small fee of roughly 10,000 VND.
