For day-trippers not staying at the luxury resorts that line the coast, the easiest public entry points are situated near the cluster of local seafood shacks on the northern stretch of the beach. You can park your motorbike in the secure, sandy lots managed by these local dining venues for approximately 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND, offering an incredibly short, level walk directly onto the wide shoreline.
This spectacular, 10-kilometer-long stretch of fine, cream-colored sand is highly celebrated for its expansive shoreline and shallow waters, making it an exceptional destination for swimmers. During the dry season from January to September, the ocean here is wonderfully clean, clear, and turquoise, featuring a very gradual sandy seabed that allows swimmers to wade out quite far on a soft, rock-free bottom. Swimmers should be aware that because this beach is wide open to the ocean, it can experience breezy conditions and moderate, rolling waves in the afternoons, though the shallow slope keeps it very manageable. While there are no active municipal lifeguards patrolling the public, non-resort sections of the beach, staying near the resort boundaries or the local seafood stalls is recommended for safety. Basic freshwater rinsing showers and rustic changing areas can be accessed at the local beachfront restaurants for a small fee of roughly 10,000 VND.
