Because of its central location, it is incredibly easy to reach compared to the island's more remote coves. You can park your motorbike or car in the paved roadside spaces or in the parking areas of the adjacent resorts and coastal cafes for approximately 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND. The transition from the road to the wide sandy beach is entirely flat and involves just a short walk of a few meters.
An Hai Beach is a beautiful, sweeping stretch of soft white sand bordered by calm, brilliant turquoise waters and framed by the dramatic, jungle-draped peaks of the love-legend mountain, Nui Mot. Being positioned right on the edge of the main town, it is highly popular with locals who gather in the early mornings and late afternoons for refreshing swims and seaside walks. The water here is remarkably clear and calm, with a gentle, shallow sandy slope that makes it highly safe and comfortable for families, wading, and long, relaxed swims. While there are no municipal lifeguards or public safety buoy lines, the beach is generally very safe and sheltered from the rougher ocean swells that hit other sides of the island.
