You physically enter the beach by walking down a short flight of concrete steps that lead directly from a paved roadside parking clearing on Hoang Sa Road. This entry point sits right next to a small cluster of rustic, local seafood shacks and is directly adjacent to the Son Tra Resort. Motorbikes can be parked in the clearing right at the top of the steps for a small fee of 10,000 VND to 25,000 VND.
This quiet, 600-meter crescent of fine, soft white sand is situated in a sheltered bay, providing exceptionally calm, clear, and clean water that is ideal for swimmers. Because the peninsula's surrounding hills block the open ocean, the bay is highly protected from rough waves, strong undertows, and dangerous currents during the dry season from February to September. Swimmers should note that while the shallow waters near the rocky borders offer great conditions for snorkeling, there are no active public lifeguards or zoned safety buoy lines on this beach, so personal caution is necessary. While there are no large commercial shops or modern amenities on the sand, some of the local rustic food stalls near the entry steps offer basic freshwater rinsing showers for a small fee.
