Often considered the most modern and commercially active of the three local coves, Cat Co 3 Beach is a gorgeous pocket of soft golden sand nestled beneath towering limestone karsts. It is highly favored by active swimmers because the shoreline here drops off into deeper water more quickly than at Cat Co 2, and it receives more direct waves from the bay, making it excellent for swimming, wave-jumping, and light bodyboarding. The beach is highly organized with clear safety buoy lines and seasonal lifeguards patrolling the designated swimming zones.
