On street parking on the road behind the beachfront. A steep shelving beach so not very easy to get in/out of the water.

Description

This is the end of Chesil Beach. Most of Chesil Beach ranges from ‘not ideal’ to ‘dangerous’ for swimming. The end of the beach can be OK on the correct conditions. It’s preferable that you swim here with one of the local groups as they will know when it will be OK. Castletown beach is only 800m away on the other side of the isle and almost always a safer option.
