You access the beach via the public park area situated right at the major intersection where Cua Dai Road meets Lac Long Quan and Au Co streets. From this paved park plaza, a flat, sandy slope and a set of wide, shallow concrete steps lead directly onto the shoreline. Motorbikes can be left in the adjacent public parking spaces for around 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND, and visitors can make the very short, level walk past the local beachfront stalls straight onto the sand.
This beach offers a unique swimming environment that has been heavily reshaped by extensive coastal protection projects, resulting in a mix of soft, restored golden sand and artificial sandbag embankments. For swimmers, the main public park area is the safest spot to enter the water, as the offshore submerged breakwaters significantly reduce wave energy, creating a calm, pool-like swimming zone during the dry season from February to September. Unlike other shallower beaches nearby, the seabed here drops off more quickly, allowing you to swim properly without wading out extremely far, though swimmers should remain cautious of sudden depths and steer clear of the large, protective geotextile sandbags. There are active local guards patrolling the primary public zone, and convenient freshwater rinsing showers can be used at the neighboring seafood stalls for a small fee of roughly 10,000 VND.
