Access

Some on street parking on Headland Road or use Porthrepta Car Park. At the end of Headland Road take the footpath down the hill and across the train tracks. Then continue down the footpath down to Hawkes Point and off the steps/rocks into the sea/beach.

Description

The end of Porthkidney Beach, sheltered by the cliffs from westerly winds. Does get more waves than Carbis Bay next door so check the swell first. Mostly flat in the summer and a really nice place to swim as the greenery on the cliff almost comes down to the sea. At high tide there is no beach but you can swim off the steps/rocks which we think is the best.
