Enter the beach by taking any of the flat, paved public access paths branching off the Pham Van Dong coastal road, walking directly onto the wide, sandy shoreline. The main beach access points are situated just north of the famous Hon Chong Promontory rock cluster and are located directly opposite local landmarks like the Muong Thanh Luxury Vien Trieu hotel towers. You can easily leave a motorbike in the designated paved parking spaces along the coastal road or at one of the adjacent seaside cafes for a small fee of roughly 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND, making the level walk to the water highly convenient.
This peaceful northern extension of Nha Trang's coastline is highly favored by families and casual swimmers because it offers much shallower and calmer waters than the main city beach further south. Thanks to the natural barrier formed by the offshore islands and the massive granite boulder clusters of the Hon Chong Promontory, this bay is exceptionally sheltered from rough open-ocean waves and dangerous undercurrents, creating highly safe swimming conditions during the primary dry season from January to August. The seabed slopes down very gently, allowing swimmers to wade out quite far on a soft, sandy bottom, though visitors should still watch out for the occasional smooth rock near the southern end. While this local favorite lacks structured public safety buoy lines, it retains a wonderfully authentic local vibe and is lined with excellent beachfront cafes where you can buy fresh coconut water or pay a small fee of about 10,000 VND to use their freshwater rinsing showers.

Lifeguarded Swim Zone. Be careful of the rocks at low tide if swimming outside the swim zone.
