Enter the beach by taking any of the small public access lanes branching off National Highway 1A near the local seafood restaurant cluster, stepping directly down onto a wide, flat sandy slope. If you are not staying at one of the beachfront resorts (which offer direct step-down beach access), the easiest public entry is located near the Lang Co market area or the central beachfront dining shacks. You can park motorbikes in the adjacent restaurant or public lots for approximately 10,000 VND to 20,000 VND and make the short, flat walk over the sandbanks to the water.
This incredibly expansive, 10-kilometer-long stretch of fine white sand is set in a breathtaking bay backed by the lush Bach Ma mountains, offering a scenic and uncrowded environment for swimmers. The swimming conditions are at their peak during the dry season from March to August, featuring very clean, turquoise water with gentle waves and a sloping seabed that is friendly for casual wading. Swimmers must be highly cautious, however, because this natural beach generally lacks active public lifeguard patrols and designated swimming safety ropes. It is strongly advised to only swim close to the shore where you see local families swimming. The adjacent local seafood restaurants offer basic freshwater rinsing showers and changing spots for a small fee of about 10,000 VND.
