Located right at the end of the main Pham Van Dong road, directly adjacent to East Sea Park (Cong vien Bien dong). Parking: There are large, paved public motorbike and car parking areas right next to East Sea Park and along the beachfront promenade. Parking is very inexpensive (typically 5,000 VND for a scooter). Getting onto the Sand: From the parking zones, you simply walk across the wide, paved pedestrian promenade. There are flat, gently sloping paved ramps and wide stone steps that lead directly down to the sand, making it extremely easy to access even with beach gear.
This is one of the safest and most highly organized public swimming zones in Da Nang. Swimming Conditions: The sand is incredibly fine and soft, and the seabed has a very gentle, gradual slope with no sudden drop-offs, making it highly suitable for casual swimmers, families, and children. The water is warmest and calmest during the dry season (March to September). Song (waves) are generally mild to moderate here, but they can pick up during the monsoon season (October to February), at which point swimming is restricted. Safety & Amenities: The beach features a dedicated, clearly marked swimming zone cordoned off with floating buoy lines. A highly active professional lifeguard team patrols the shore from 5:00 AM to 6:30 PM daily. Swimmers should look out for their flag system (green flags mean safe to swim, red flags mean dangerous conditions/no swimming).
