Access

A few options for parking but the biggest is ‘Poly Joke Car Park’ behind the Bowgie Inn is the biggest. Then 500m walk along the footpath down to the beach. The cliffs aren't very high here so it's not a big hill to walk down.

Description

Sandy beach situated in a valley, so the beach is long when the tide is out and sheltered at high tide. Often overlooked due to the big name beaches either side (Holywell and Crantock). Less waves at this beach than it's neighbours so better for a swim, but without Lifeguards. Some great swims to be had here at high tide on a clam day.
