Access

Small car park just above the beach and a larger car park a few 100m up the road (Reppers Combe Car Park). Walk down the road from either car park and down the boat slipway onto the beach.

Description

North facing beach so is sheltered from the prevailing wind and swell on the North Coast most of the time. At high tide the sandy beach is mostly gone, but we think it is nicer for a swim at high tide as you can swim next to the headland and it’s sheltered (only when no waves as this is where the rip current is). On a calm day there are some very interesting features in the cliffs which are nice to explore when swimming.

    Sheltered from SW winds and better swimming conditions than most of the nearby beaches. I swim here when Chapel Porth has waves.
