Access

Nearest car park is behind The Sloop Inn pub, which is also great for a drink. Parking in St Ives is not easy so arrive very early or get the Park and Ride train in from St Erth.

Description

Harbour beach with golden sand. Almost always calm (it’s a harbour!). Some small boats moving about but most of the larger fishing boats stay next to the harbour wall. The annual St Ives Biathlon run/swim race starts and finishes here. At low tide there is no water in the harbour.
