Park on Breakwater Road and walk to the end of the breakwater. Accessible at low tide when and not in big surf. Walk over uneven rocks.

Description

Sir Thomas’s Pit used to be a men only pool with an entry fee, now it's free to anyone who wants a swim. Good for a dip a few hours either side of low tide. Good for an evening swim at low tide after the pool has been warmed by the sun all afternoon. Not a huge pool but about 25m long by a few meter wide.
