Shedden Hill Car Park has lots of spaces. Cross the main road and down steps or the slipway onto the sand.

Description

A super big beach that offers lots of choices for swimmers. The slipway in the corner of the beach is cut off at high tide. The back of the beach is a walkway with large steps down to the sea at high tide. High tide is the best as you can swim straight from the steps or slipway. Great for a dip or a long distance swim.

    I swam at high tide and it was a bit choppy. Can swim straight off the slipway which is nice. I will come back and swim here when the wind is lighter or offshore.
