Mostly dirt rough road access (bumpy). The south end of the beach is easier to get to (fisherman beach). Or the north end by the resorts around the small headland at Bai Vung Bau.
Motorbikes and cars can easily park in flat, spacious dirt or gravel clearings right at the public access points or within the designated parking areas of local boutique eco-resorts (north end). From these parking zones, accessing the shoreline is a short, flat walk of just a few meters through gentle coastal grasses and shade trees, allowing visitors to step directly onto the sand with no cliffs, rocky drop-offs, or concrete steps to manage.
Bai Vung Bau is a beautifully serene, semi-circular crescent of soft golden-white sand that retains a wonderfully calm and laid-back atmosphere. For swimmers, this hidden bay offers a spectacular environment, as the clear turquoise water is heavily sheltered, ensuring the sea remains exceptionally flat, gentle, and virtually wave-free throughout the dry season. The underwater shelf drops off smoothly and predictably, providing an ideal depth for casual swimming, floating, and wading close to the shore.
